My counselling approach…

My counselling approach, at its core, is person-centred and relational. I believe my role is to create a safe, welcoming space and to support you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. I draw on ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), mindfulness and somatic practices to offer a pluralistic approach that supports your wellbeing.

Specialisation…

I have a special interest in maternal mental health, perinatal mental health and supporting women and birthing parents in parenthood. While these are the main passions, I also welcome anyone seeking counselling, no matter what stage of life you are in or what challenges you may be facing.

Professional Body – I am a Provisional Member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors. I am bound by their code of ethics.

In person and online – I offer in-person counselling in my office in central Ōtepoti, Dunedin, and also online counselling.
